British Columbia Children's Summer Kayak Camps

The main focus of these camps is to promote safe travel in the marine environment, and leadership skills. Kayaking safety and rescue techniques will be covered in an informal and fun discovery form of learning. There will be a big focus on natural history and marine biology games.

Sea Kayaking Camps are Tuesday’s - Friday’s:
July 7- July 10 (ages 8-11)
July 21- July 24 (ages 12-15)
July 28 -July 31 (ages 8+)
August 18 - August 21 (ages 8-11)
August 25 - August 28 (ages 12-15)

Sailing & Rowing Camp:
with Gabriola Adventure Sailing & Barefoot Wooden Boats Tuesday, August 4- Friday, August 7 (ages 10+)

All four day camps cost $96 per participant. Each session is from 9 am- 2 pm held at the Silva Bay INN, next to the General Store. These camps are a great way for kids to enjoy our local waters, learn leadership skills, and create lasting friendships! Silva Bay Kayak Adventures also runs:
Mondays Kayaking & Yoga from 9 am -12 pm starting June 22. We also have beginner kayak lessons, sunset paddles, full day tours with catered lunches, and outer island cabin-based kayak expeditions.
